Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is a hilarious teen comedy based upon the novel of the same name by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan and stars Michael Cera and Kat Dennings.
Nick (Michael Cera) is yearning for his ex-girlfriend Tris and he hopes that he can win her back with the mix tapes that he makes for her. Music obsessed Norah (Kat Dennings) has collected the discarded CDs and has already decided that Nick must be her soul mate despite never meeting him. Although they have nothing in common except for their taste in music, a chance encounter in a New York club leads to an all-night hunt to find a band's secret show and ends up becoming a promising first date complete with writing songs, singing in the rain and soul searching, but will past relationships get in the way? And will they figure out what they really want?
