All four episodes of the 1970s sci-fi television miniseries starring John Mills as the eccentric Professor Quatermass. After a joint space mission between the US and Russia goes horribly wrong and the two spacecraft are destroyed by an unknown force, the world falls into chaos. With the country's young people joining the 'Planet People' group, believing they will be transported to another world by benevolent aliens, Quatermass travels to London in search of his granddaughter Hettie (Rebecca Saire). However, as the reality of the situation becomes apparent to him, Quatermass suspects something much more sinister is going on...
