Contraband is an intensely gripping, action packed crime thriller starring Mark Wahlberg as a contented family man (Chris Farraday) endeavouring to turn his back on his criminal past and to go straight.

When his brother in law, Andy (Caleb Landry Jones), becomes embroiled in an international drug smuggling enterprise that goes wrong, he feels duty bound to step in to try to help him but things inevitably go from bad to worse. During one last sortie into Panama, intended to pay off Andy's debt, he comes up against a formidable barrage of ruthless criminals, hit-men, drug barons and shady officials which forces him back into the cut-throat world he tried so hard to leave behind.

With his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and children now being threatened he must rediscover his grimy past and once again enter the dark, treacherous depths of the criminal underworld. He will do anything he can to ensure the safety of his beloved family.
