This DVD provides a highly delightful commemorative souvenir covering some of the main highlights of the Queens Diamond Jubilee weekend - 2nd- 5th June 2012.
No-one will ever forget the magnificence of the Diamond Jubilee Thames Pageant which saw the Queen and her family lead a flotilla comprising a diverse assortment of boats and craft down the River Thames. The river banks had many stunning displays interspersed along its length (a theatrical War Horse, semaphore, fireworks, a Naval Gun salute etc) and a crowd of thousands of excited, jubilant people cheered them all the way.
There's footage of the Service of Thanksgiving which took place in St Pauls Cathedral, the colourful Carriage procession and the balcony appearance of the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace. The exhilarating spectacle of the RAF flypast is also included. The wet weather over this memorable weekend certainly didn't appear to dampen anybody's spirits and the whole series of events will go down in history as a definite Royal success.
