Comedy or musical? Either way Glee has gripped the nation with its catchy songs and cheery storylines - it's even earned the Best TV Series award at the 2009 Golden Globes.
This fresh and funny series follows the McKinley High School's Glee Club, a show choir made up of outcast teenagers who're in desperate need of a shake-up. After their former teacher is sacked for improper behaviour with a male student, the reins are handed over to Mr Schuester, an enthusiastic ex-member intent on restoring the club to its former glory.
But Glee Club isn't the only difficulty Will Schuester has to face; his wife Terri is becoming increasingly demanding, he realises he has feelings for his fellow clean-obsessive co-worker Emma and the scheming cheerleading coach seems intent on wrecking the club's chances at sectionals.
