A wonderful selection of films from Woody Allen - award winning director, actor and writer. This multi-talented cinematographer and comedy genius began his career in the 1950's and is still going strong today (Midnight in Paris was nominated for several 2011 awards). This gratifyingly diverse collection of 20 of his films certainly serves to highlight the wide-ranging scope of Allen's legendary, highly acclaimed contribution to the silver screen. The tiles include several well-known and some not so well-known films. These are;

ANNIE HALL (1977) Disturbed, neurotic comedian Alvy Singer falls head over heels in love with an equally crazy lady - Annie Hall (Diane Keaton). This film won an Oscar for Best Picture.

MANHATTAN (1979) A middle aged twice divorced writer dates a 17 year old high school girl then finds himself falling for his best friends mistress. Oscar nominated

SLEEPER (1973) Sci-fi comedy

EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK (1972) Seven hilariously funny short pieces providing explicit answers to some of the more challenging sexual misconceptions.

SHADOWS AND FOG (1991) Tense dark comedy about an office clerk who has been forced to track down a serial strangler

ALICE (1990): Alice Tate embarks on an enlightening journey of self-discovery after a consultation with herbalist, Dr Yang, who gives her some of his highly potent magical herbal preparations. Oscar nominated

ANOTHER WOMAN (1988) A writer overhears another woman's psycho-therapy analysis in an adjoining office. This prompts her to psycho-analyse herself in the same way which enables her to change her life for the better.

BROADWAY DANNY ROSE (1984) Follows the story of an unfortunate love triangle involving the Mob in Gangland New York. Oscar nominated.

ZELIG (1983)Fake documentary which follows a celebrity nonentity possessing the ability to mimic whoever he is with at the time. All too soon his past catches up with him. Oscar nominated.
