In the final days of World War II a band of WASPs (Women's Air Service Corps) led by the formidable Maxine West are enlisted to ferry a top-secret weapon to an American airbase in the Pacific. But before they can reach their goal the mission runs into a violent storm and their B-29 is forced down onto a tiny Pacific island. Stranded on the deserted island West and her crew encounter Japanese soldiers led by Captain Ozu of the Japanese Imperial Air Force and more terrifyingly Pterodons flying monsters that have devastated Ozu's command. Now caught between the Japanese soldiers and the prehistoric predators West has no choice but to complete her mission to deliver the weapon or die trying.
