Tales of The Black Freighter is the perfect companion to the Watchmen Movie and features the voice of Gerard Butler (300).
In the Watchmen movie you see a child reading a comic at a newsstand; the astute types will notice that this comic is the Tales of The Black Freighter which has been re-created for DVD to complement the main story.
In Black Freighter, Gerard Butler is the voice of a shipwrecked man who's survived an attack by the feared and deadly BlackFreighter, a pirate ship, which is said to be crewed by demons and fuelled by the blood of its victims. Convinced that the demon-pirates intend to invade his home, the hero attempts to get to them first to warn them, in a raft made out of the dead bodies of his crew-mates (which he talks to).
