David Attenborough DVD collectors items

08 November 2017

David Attenborough has been broadcasting with the BBC for over 65 years. Rejected initially in 1950 for a radio broadcasting programme, it was two years later that his first began working as a producer on factual matters. In 1954 he made his first animal related fact based programme named 'Animal Patterns'. The rest is history -  natural history and Attenborough has a huge legacy of engaging people, young and old, in his passion for observing the behaviour of plants and animals. His ability to continuously adapt and embrace new technological developments in cinematography has brought absolute joy to millions of viewers throughout the world.

Blue Planet II is enjoying phenomenal success currently playing on BBC. It is to be released on November 27th 2017. In the meantime, Planet Earth II is availalbe on DVD and blueray  to order for immediate dispatch. The programme takes the audience to depths never seen before viewing sealife which sees very little light. The production is a feat comparable with space exploration and the results are phenominal.

While you wait for the release of Blue Planet II, a huge amount of material is available and can be enjoyed at very low prices. Have a look through some of David Attenboroughs extraordinary collection of work, including highlights from special moments in his career illustrated in the programme, David at 90: Starring David Attenborough.

If however, like me you love the story of the evolution of flight, consider my personal favourite from 2016 - David Attenborough: Conquest of the Skies in 3D. And don't forget to tune into Blue Planet II on Sunday evenings or order  the DVD as soon as it is released later this month.
