Children's DVDs for Easter, new releases of award nominated films, review competitions and more on Find-DVD this Spring

There is only another week to go now until we pick the winner of the Find-DVD review competition for March. Every month we give away £100 worth of Amazon vouchers to the person who submits the best DVD review to the competition. If you would like to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize then why not have a go yourself – you never know – it could be you who receives our email notification saying you have won! The competition is really easy to enter and with such a lot of really good DVDs out at the moment it surely can't be difficult to choose one you would like to write about. We really appreciate every review sent in – it is your chance to share your thoughts with other visitors to our site. The review can be about a new film/series etc., or it can be about an old favourite. It can be about a DVD you really enjoyed and want others to see or it can be about one you have consigned to the bin and want to warn others not to bother with. It's up to you.

If you are not familiar with our competition you may be interested in reading the reviews sent in by some of our past winners to see if you can identify what impresses our judge or you may want to have a look at some recent reviews so you can sum up the standard of this month's competition. After that just choose the title of the DVD you would like to review and start typing!

The winning review is usually featured in a news article on our homepage and is often mentioned on our Facebook page. Have you had a look at our Facebook page yet? Here we try to bring you up to the minute news of important new DVD releases, updates on our competitions and any other film/DVD/TV news we think you might be interested in. It is also one of the ways you can provide us with feedback, comments and any questions you may have about the DVD site. You might also be interested in using our Facebook app where you can get all the information you need to buy your DVD without leaving Facebook.

It will be Easter in a couple of weeks time. If you have a look through our new releases section of the site you will see that there are quite a few DVDs out now and coming out just in time for the kids Easter holidays. A couple of our own special favourites include Puss in Boots an animated tale which chronicles events in the life of this colourful character before his encounter with Shrek and Donkey in Shrek 2 (voiceover by Antonio Banderas) and Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn which is a marvellous animation of Herge's much loved comic book creation - brought to life by Steven Spielberg for all the family to enjoy. More children's DVDs to look out for; Mike the Knight – Knight in Training,Treasure Buddies, Fireman Sam – Mountain Rescue, Peppa Pig – Champion Daddy Pig (Vol16) plus lots more.

We are still seeing DVD releases of some of the well-nominated award contenders for the 2011-2012 award season. Some of the ones that have been released recently include Moneyball (19/3/2010), The Help (12/3/2012), My Week with Marilyn (16/3/2012), Warrior (20/2/2012), The Ides of March (5/3/2012) and Jane Eyre (12/3/2012)

Coming very soon are The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (23/4/2012), Hugo (2/4/2012), War Horse (7/5/2012), The Descendants (21/5/2012), The Iron Lady (30/4/2012), The Artist (9/5/2012) plus many more. Remember you can pre-order any DVDs that are not out just yet as long as you can see them on the Find-DVD site. Reserve a copy of your chosen title and wait for it to be delivered to your door.
