  • A Nightmare on Elm Street 7-Film Steelbook Collection [4K Ultra HD][1984] [Blu-ray] [Region Free]A Nightmare on Elm Street 7-Film Steelbook Collection | Blu Ray | (31/12/2025) from £199.99   |  Saving you £N/A (N/A%)   |  RRP £N/A

A brand new Steelbook collection featuring Wes Craven's 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' series. Featuring the films on 4K UHD and Blu-Ray, 7 Steelbooks and steel outer-case all with brand new artwork. In the opener, American teenager Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp) begins to suffer from nightmares, only to discover that many of her friends are having similarly disturbed nights' sleep. Their dreams are haunted by the hideously scarred former child murderer Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) who, it soon transpires, has the power to kill them in their sleep. Freddy is out to exact his revenge on the children of those who burned him alive in retribution for his crimes, and the only way to avoid his reprisals is to avoid sleep - but Nancy knows that she can't stay awake for ever. The sequel 'Freddy's Revenge' is set five years after the original. The Walsh family have now moved into the house formerly owned by the Thompsons, and it is not long before teenage son Jesse (Mark Patton) is having bad dreams. He and girlfriend Lisa attempt to work out what is happening to him, but before long Jesse becomes convinced that Freddy has taken over his body in order to continue his murderous rampage. The second sequel, 'Dream Warriors', features the return of Nancy from the first film, now a psychiatric doctor. She teams up with Dr Neil Goldman (Craig Wasson) when a group of teenagers at his hospital begin to suffer a shared nightmare, and soon realises that Freddy has returned to continue wreaking his revenge on the descendants of those who killed him. By the fourth film, 'The Dream Master', Freddy has killed off all the children of those who originally burnt him to death. Now he's starting to kill their teenage friends. Luckily, Alice Johnson (Lisa Wilcox), one of the endangered kids, has the special ability to bring others into her dreams. She is the Dream Master, and therefore the only one who can stop the razor-fingered prankster from wreaking more of his murderous havoc. In 'The Dream Child', Alice is expecting a baby. Unfortunately for her, the meddlesome Freddy finds out about this and begins to control the foetus's dreams, hoping that the birth will be his means of returning to the land of the living. So the Dream Master sets to work, taking the battle to Krueger one final time. In 'Freddy's Dead - The Final Nightmare', having wiped out all the children in his home town, dreamstalking psychokiller Freddy decides it is time to head for pastures new. Luckily for him, he happens across a home for troubled teens and is soon indulging his unspeakable appetites once again. This was originally intended to be the final instalment in the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' series, but director Wes Craven was unable to resist bringing Freddy back one more time in his 1994 'Wes Craven's New Nightmare', a coda to the series in which Craven and his producer play themselves, persuading the now grown-up Heather Langenkamp (of the first film) to return to Elm Street one more time. She and Robert Englund are lured back to play their characters again, but this time they cannot walk away from them when they leave the film set at the end of the day...A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984): 91 mins.A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985): 87 mins.A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987): 96 mins.A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988): 93 mins.A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989): 89 mins.Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991): 89 mins.Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994): 112 mins.

Inside the Mind of Coffin Joe Limited Edition. Cultural icon, anti-establishment statement, sadistic lord of carnival horror! With his iconic long fingernails, top hat and cape, Zé do Caixão (Coffin Joe) was the creation of Brazilian filmmaker José Mojica Marins, who wrote, directed and starred in a series of outrageous movies from 1964 to 2008.An unholy undertaker in search of the perfect woman to propagate his bloodline, Zé do Caixão made his screen debut with the first Brazilian-produced horror film, At Midnight I’ll Take Your Soul. Three years later, his quest would continue in This Night I’ll Possess Your Corpse, with Zé embarking on an even more brutal campaign of terror, aided and abetted by his hunchbacked assistant. The Strange World of Coffin Joe, meanwhile, is an anthology of three short horror films featuring a strange dollmaker, a necrophiliac balloon seller with a foot fetish, and a psychotic professor involved in sadistic rituals. Sex, perversion and sadism abound in The Awakening of the Beast as a psychiatrist experiments on four volunteers with LSD in this surreal examination of 60s drug culture.Diverging from horror toward satirical black comedy, The End of Man sees a naked stranger emerge from the sea to perform miracles in a nearby town and become a modern messiah whose deeds will affect the whole world. Rarely-seen sequel When the Gods Fall Asleep continues this blackly comic trajectory as our messianic cult figure sets out to right wrongs, expose corruption and end social unrest. The Strange Hostel of Naked Pleasures brings Zé do Caixão back to the screen as the proprietor of an isolated guest house where, on a dark and stormy night, an eclectic group of strangers seek shelter. In Hellish Flesh, Dr George Medeiros is a brilliant scientist, but a neglectful husband whose wife takes a lover and plans to murder George for his fortune, but the doctor is only disfigured and returns with a plan for revenge! Meanwhile, in Hallucinations of a Deranged Mind, the colleagues of a psychiatric doctor driven to insanity by nightmare visions of Zé do Caixão enlist the character’s creator, José Mojica Marins, to convince the patient that Zé does not exist – but all is not as it seems! Finally, in Embodiment of Evil, Marins returns to the role that made his name one last time, as Zé do Caixão emerges onto the streets of São Paulo in 2008, haunted by ghostly visions and the spirits of past victims, and still in pursuit of the woman who can give him the perfect child.Newly restored from the best available elements and packed with new and archival extras, Inside the Mind of Coffin Joe is a love letter to one of the great iconoclasts of horror, who forged his films in the face of military dictatorship and religious censorship to become Brazil’s national Boogeyman. . George A. Romero's terrifying classic, the movie that invented the zombie genre, in a stunning new 4K restoration. Shot outside Pittsburgh on a shoestring budget by a band of filmmakers determined to make their mark, Night of the Living Dead, directed by horror master GEORGE A. ROMERO, is one of the great stories of independent cinema: a midnight hit turned boxoffice smash that became one of the most influential films of all time. A deceptively simple tale of a group of strangers trapped in a farmhouse who find themselves fending off a horde of recently dead, flesheating ghouls, Romero's claustrophobic vision of a late1960s America literally tearing itself apart rewrote the rules of the horror genre, combined gruesome gore with acute social commentary, and quietly broke ground by casting a black actor (DUANE JONES) in its lead role. YOU JUST CAN'T KEEP A GOOD GUY DOWN! From his very first outing in 1988, Chucky the pint-sized, plastic 'Good Guy' doll has managed to carve out a unique and enduring legacy while trying his (plastic) hand at some truly creative, blood-soaked mayhem! In Tom Holland (Fright Night)'s Child's Play, a young Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) receives his very own Good Guy doll. Unluckily for both him and his mother Karen (Catherine Hicks), Chucky happens to contain the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif), and causes chaos for Andy and those around him, leaving a trail of corpses in his wake. In Child's Play 2, Chucky returns in full mini-monster mode, terrorising Andy further in a sinister game of hide-and-seek. Child's Play 3 sees a teenaged Andy (Justin Whalin) dealing with both military school and a recently resurrected Chucky. In Ronny Yu's Bride of Chucky, the doll with a killer personality returns and continues his murderous spree alongside his love, Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly). Series creator Don Mancini makes his directorial debut in Seed of Chucky, where Chucky and Tiffany continue their wicked antics after being resurrected by their living-doll child, Glen (Billy Boyd). Nine years later, Chucky chooses Nica (Fiona Dourif) and her family to torture in Mancini's Curse of Chucky, followed swiftly by Cult of Chucky, in which Nica faces the Good Guy once more with a little help from a grown-up Andy Barclay (Vincent). Featuring brand new 4K restorations of the sequels with recent cast and crew interviews as well as Kyra Elise Gardner's behind the scenes documentary Living with Chucky, you don't want to miss this toybox of terror from Arrow Video! One of Italian cinema's most celebrated and prolific filmmakers, Sergio Martino worked across a range of genres, but is arguably best known for his giallo thrillers. This collection brings together three of his finest. In The Case of the Scorpion's Tail, recently widowed Lisa Baumer is summoned to Athens to collect her husband's generous life insurance policy, but soon discovers others are willing to kill to get their hands on it. In the Edgar Allan Poe-inspired Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key, abrasive drunk Oliviero amuses himself by holding drunken orgies and abusing his long-suffering wife but when a series of grisly murders shakes the local community, Oliviero finds himself in the frame. Finally, The Suspicious Death of a Minor combines giallo and crime thriller tropes as undercover cop Paolo pursues the Milanese criminal outfit responsible for the brutal murder of an underage prostitute, but finds himself up against a killer-for-hire who's bumping off witnesses before they have a chance to talk. Featuring sensational casts of genre stalwarts, including Edwige Fenech, George Hilton, Anita Strindberg and Luigi Pistilli, with scripts by giallo master Ernesto Gastaldi and sensuous scores by maestro Bruno Nicolai, this is an essential collection for any Italian cult cinema fan.
