CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITIES... From the hugely talented actor, writer and director Paul Mazursky (The Tempest, Harry and Tonto) comes Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, a classic comedy that hilariously probes the complicated relationship dynamics of the sexually liberated 1960s. Mazursky's sharp satire tells of Bob (Columbo regular Robert Culp) and Carol (Natalie Wood: West Side Story, Brainstorm), an affluent and hip Californian couple who return from a free-thinking, free-love retreat, intent on having an open relationship. The more conservative Ted (Elliot Gould: MASH, The Long Goodbye) and Alice (Dyan Cannon, Heaven Can Wait) enjoy hearing about their friends amorous adventures, but the cat is set amongst the pigeons when they are invited to join-in... in bed! A film that truly evokes the spirit of its age, Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice was a huge hit with audiences and critics alike upon its original theatrical release. Benefitting from superb ensemble acting from its main players and a sublime score courtesy of Quincy Jones, it is no wonder that Mazursky s film was nominated for four Academy Awards. The Dick Cavett Show - John And Yoko Collection | DVD | (08/02/2019)
from £8.99 | Saving you £9.00 (50.00%) | RRP
John Lennon and Yoko Ono appeared on The Dick Cavett Show three times. Clearly they enjoyed their time with Cavett as these television interviews stand out as their most relaxed and in-depth. They even cast him in one of their films. The September 11 1971 show is notable as the first American television interview John gave after the breakup of The Beatles. So comfortable were the Lennons that after the show was over they continued talking with Cavett. The additional portions of that first interview were shown as part of The Dick Cavett Show on September 24 1971. During that visit they'd discussed coming back and giving a live performance. True to there word for their appearance on Cavett's show on May 11 1972 they returned with Elephants Memory and each sang one song.

'Genius' is a word that is often used too casually. That's certainly not the case with Ray Charles. The word was so appropriate in his case that it became his nickname. 'The Genius' was a guest on The Dick Cavett Show three times including one where he was Cavett's only guest. As a performer and conversationalist his magnetism is in full force. Ray speaks candidly about his life and career and performs 14 songs over 3 episodes.
