This DVD set features all 13 episodes of the animated television series The Silver Surfer. Based on the comics written by Stan Lee The Silver Surfer follows the trials and tribulations of Norrin Radd. The Silver Surfer entered the world of comics in March 1966 in Fantastic Four #48 as an unplanned addition to a story about Galactus and the Fantastic Four. Both Stan Lee and Jack Kirby enjoyed the character so much that he featured him in a solo title The Silver Surfer in 1968 with him going on to become one of the most well-loved of all the Marvel characters.
