  The story of Mohan and Manju who grew up together and ended up falling in love. Their parents agree to their decision to marry but when Mohan goes to buy jewelery for his wife he is robbed and ends up in hospital. Manju waits for him but her father gets impatient and has her married off to an old man. When he returns Mohan is devastated by this but after a while Manju's husband dies. When the two of them meet again a storm results in Manju's death and Mohan is accused of her murder!
