    SILSILA HAI PYAR KA is a fairy tale romance. A Cindrella type story yet contemporary. Vanshika Mathur an orphan who lives with her aunt is a simple middle class girl desperately in search of a job. Eventually she gets a job with Mr. Sinha a very successful businessman. Mr. Sinha is a widower who has a son Abhay. Abhay has grown up with his maternal uncle Rakesh a four-time divorcee whose motto is 'Stay unmarried and lead a bohemain lifestyle'. Abhay is strongly influenced by his uncle and has grown into a flamboyant arrogant spoilt brat who has never put in a day's work at the family business. Mr. Sinha is obviously perturbed to the point of distress by the lifestyle his son leads - party all night and sleep through the day. He is determined to get his son back on the right track. In order to get Abhay into the office he entices him with the idea of young female secretary. He succeeds. Abhay meets Vanshika at the office. He is disgusted. She is flustered but hopelessly in love. The rest of the film is a roller-coaster ride - a clash of the value system of the idealistic Vanshika and the non-existent morals of the wayward Abhay.     This story is about Ravi Vijay and Apu who are young handsome and energetic married middle class people who are trying to survive on their monthly salary. They are not only neighbours but are also very good friends and work together. They regularly keep on borrowing money from everyone as their expenses are always more than their income. Their wives Meena Anjali and Vimla are housewives but because of the useless debts of their husbands they are not able to make the monthly rent or the school fees for their children and so are always on the bottom end in society. In the meantime a man called Bhishma comes to live in their neighbourhood with his wife Zhoomari. Considering the problems of Meena Anjali and Vimla one day Zhoomari advises them to take up a job like her. They want to but their husbands are not keen on their wives being sent out to work. The three husbands then subsequently loose their jobs and ultimately the wives are forced to go out to work. Angry with this change the husbands find it hard to cope and end up throwing the women out of the house. After a dramatic turn of events the husbands realise that women are equal to men and deserve more than to serve thier spouse and have children.....
