  The Nightmare on Elm Street series continues to run out of steam, with director Stephen Hopkins (Lost in Space ) applying something approaching brilliance to a script (partly by horror novelists John Skipp and Craig Spector) that falls apart under the light. Among the impressive horror-weird sequences include a boy being absorbed by a motorbike or the characters straying into a superhero comic, but it still has boring Freddy wisecracks, a parade of indistinguishable and annoying teenage cannon fodder, an incomprehensible premise about the dreams of an unborn baby and lots of pompous would-be scariness to drag it down into the morass. Lisa Wilcox returns, but there's no particular reason to be excited about that. -- Kim Newman

  Erika Anderson portrays a divorced woman seeking sexual pleasure in this mysterious and erotic tale. However things arent going quite according to plan when she is taken hostage by her mysterious new lover and held against her will in an abandoned furnished warehouse. But is she really a hostage? After a few days she realises that the door to the warehouse has never actually been locked and that in fact she has always been free to go. During her incarseration shes involved in sexual acts including having sex with a man whose face she never sees and watching her new man make love to another woman. Eventually she leaves but after time returns to find tapes of previous sexploits with evidence of who her lover really is. Tracing him to his home with wife and kids her lover soon finds the tables turned.
