  Zulekan and Shama are sisters whose mother dies when they are born. Shama goes to live with a wealthy Aunt and Zulekan lives with their father. Later Zulekan meets Yusuf when they perform together on stage and although Yusuf is attracted to Zulekan it is Shama who likes Yusuf. Their mother has promised that Zulekan wilkl marry Babar Ali who father was a family friend and so Yusuf marries Shama. On Zulekan's wedding day Babar Ali falls from a horse and is killed and Zulekan is blamed for the accident by his family. Yusuf tries to help Zulekan and Shama thinks he is still in love with her. Together with Imran who is Babar Ali's friend they try to make Zulekan's life difficult but because of her faith in god she has the courage to cope with this difficult situation.
