Powerful hard rock - and Christian Evangelism - from Stryper the pioneering Christian-metal band that took MTV and the pop charts by storm in the 1980's and showed - despite occasional controversy - that Christian conviction and hard-driving rock and roll are in no way incompatible. This concert deftly captured in a high-quality video production took place in San Juan Puerto Rico before a sold-out audience of charged-up Stryper fans. The band broke up in the early 1990's- lead singer Matthew Sweet was especially successful as a solo act - but as this concert shows the original members (Matthew his brother Robert Oz Fox and Tim Gaines) had not lost a step in the intervening years. Blistering guitar solos combine with tight harmony vocals and dramatic drums and bass to bring huge hits like 'Honestly ' 'Free ' and other classics to life. A spiritually and musically thrilling experience this concert should not be missed by any Stryper fan - or any fan of Christian metal or classic 1980's rock. Track List: 1. Sing Along Song 2. Genre-mashup MFKZ is the love-child of French comic artist Guillaume Run Renard and ultra-hip Japanese animation house Studio 4°C, creators of Tekkonkinkreet, Genius Party and Mind Game. The Tekkonkinkreet dream team of Shoujirou Nishimi and art director Shinji Kimura reunite to bring to life a dark but stunningly animated sci-fi vision that mixes anime, film noir, Lucha Libre, and gang culture in an orgy of first-person shooter mayhem. The film centers on young Angelino and his skull-and-flame pal Vinny, who live in a seedy tenement in an LA-inspired dystopian metropolis a burnt-out, gang and cockroach-ridden neo-urban hell that makes Blade Runner s LA seem like The Brady Bunch. Following a scooter accident Angelino starts experiencing migraines and strange hallucinations, as well as fits of rage-inspired superpowers, as he slowly awakens to the truth of his origins: he is half human and half Macho, a supernatural alien race that is bent on taking over the planet.
