One of Marilyn Monroe's earliest starring roles (of her ten previous films she had been uncredited in four of them) finds her playing the newspaper office receptionist Iris. The paper is run by Blake Washburn who has just been defeated in a bid for re-election to the state senate and uses the paper to ruffle big business.

Disc 1: Living Christ Series A series about our roots from Mary's Immaculate Conception to Christ's death on the cross and His glorious resurrection. Disc 2: Mary Magdalene: Yvonne De Carlo plays Mary Magdalene a prostitute in Biblical times. The film centers around the love story between a Roman and a Christian girl (De Carlo) who converts after a dance in front of an old Christian and an apparition of Jesus appears outside her window. She then becomes fascinated with Jesus and becomes a true believer and devoted follower. The film culminates with the Crucifixion and features a swordfight between Mistral and Barabbas. The film features a young Terrance Hill in one of his earliest film roles billed here as Mario Girotti. The Passion Play (Silent): The story of Jesus from his birth to his resurrection. This early French feature is full of wonderful imagination and the use of color is a real added bonus. The visuals are beautiful and the set decoration is amongst the best of any silent film of its era. Paul teaches that everyone even slaves is equal in the eyes of God. Prophets foretell of a famine in Jerusalem and the new believers send food and other supplies to the true believers in Jerusalem.
