Reggae TV presents a two part documentary reviewing the journey of Reggae Legend Pato Banton as well as live footage from the acclaimed artist. Born in Birmingham, Banton first came to public attention in the early 1980s when he worked with The Beat. His album Universal Love featured a song covered by Banton called United We Stand, which was written by fellow Birmingham musician Ray Watts, of the group Beshara. After a 1994 UK #1 hit in Baby Come Back (originally by Eddy Grant performing with The Equals), with Robin and Ali Campbell of UB40, a best-of album was released, and Banton was invited by Sting to join him on his This Cowboy Song single. More recently, Banton has been playing with Mystic Roots, a reggae band formed in Chico, California. Track Listing: Destination Paradise. Hands worth Riot. Legalize It. One World Is Enough. Gwarn.
