Released to coincide with the bands 25th anniversary this DVD contains over two hours of concert footage and features all 12 of their promo videos. Recorded in front of a sell out crowd at Hammersmith this stunning live performance features all their greatest hits and contains the first live performance of ""Loaded"" in over three years. This DVD also contains over an hour of extras including interviews with front man Bobby Gillespie and guitarist Mani plus and backstage footage. Primal Scream's seminal album Screamadelica defined a generation. It's mix of rock dance dub gospel and more caught the zeitgeist of the early nineties to perfection and it went on to win the inaugural Mercury Music Prize in 1992 and consistently be named as Best Album Of The Nineties and appear in numerous All Time Best Albums lists. This latest addition to the acclaimed Classic Albums series tells the story behind the making of this legendary album. On 16th October 2004 some of the biggest names in alternative music played a benefit concert for the Hoping Foundation a charity set-up to help the impoverished Palestinian people. This show, filmed on November 26th 2010 at London’s Olympia, was the first time that Primal Scream had performed the whole album live and it became one of the “must see” gigs of the year. The band was accompanied by a brass section and a gospel choir with back projections specially created for the event. The result was a stunning musical and visual triumph and proved, if it needed to be, that Screamadelica is one of the finest albums ever made and that Primal Scream are one of the truly great live bands.
