Lewis Milestone (All Quiet on the Western Front) did indeed direct this 1960 caper movie starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop; but the results now seem like more of a historical artefact than a good piece of entertainment. The tone of the film is curiously serious--much more so than Steven Soderbergh's fluffy 2002 remake--one somehow expected that the Rat Pack would have made a more buoyant first picture.
