As Italians go to the polls satirist Sabina Guzzanti banned from Italian state television reveals how Silvio Berlusconi and his government have controlled the media and suppressed criticism. What we get in the film is a highly entertaining voyage through the corrupt Italian broadcasting elite punctuated with many good gags about Berlusconi. You also get a memorable conversation between Rory Bremner dressed as Tony Blair and Sabina as Berlusconi. Guzzanti talks with colleagues from Italy France and Britain in her quest to understand what 'allowable' political satire is.
