Set on a college campus, the film follows the love story of Ajay (Sohail Khan), an orphan who has a reputation of do-gooder and protector of the innocent, and Ayesha (Sameera), the daughter of rich businessman Mr Verma (Kabir Bedi). Until Ayesha joins college, Ajay spends his days in fun, frolic and fight with his closest friends the "Aryans", who join him as the security team at college. But falling in love with Ayesha comes at a price: her father, disapproving of their relationship, hires Bhaijaan, a dangerous hit man, to get rid of Ajay. Soon Ajay finds himself fighting for both his love and his life until the plot thickens and his biggest enemy becomes his chief protector. On the DVD: Maine Dil Tujhko Diya on disc has trailers for forthcoming films, various song and scene selections and a special section dedicated to the making of the film itself. --Anika Puri

Puro (Urmila Matondkar) is one such victim of this hatred and Rashid (Manoj Bajpai) is the man who rapes her. Poet at heart Ramchand (Sanjay Suri) was a rich man in undivided India. He becomes a refugee with the partition of his country. Sandali Sinha plays the newly wed Lajo whose life turns around with the tragedy that is facing the nation. Priyanshu Chatterjee is Trilok who is torn between relationships within the family. Hari Prasad Sharma runs into an old friend Dr. Asthana who has a daughter called Suman. The two decide that their children both doctors would make a perfect match. Munna tries hard to save the situation but his father discovers the truth. And all hell breaks loose. Hari Prasad Sharma now broken by the truth removes his white spotless 'pagadi' and cries. Munnabhai then takes a decision that would change many lives : He decides to become a doctor. Munnabhai MBBS is a hilarious and heart warming story of a local goon's journey into the medical world - a place he neither belongs to nor believes in.
