Billy Crystal plays the straight man to neurotic Robin Williams when these two very different individuals join forces to find a runaway teenager. Both, you see, have been told they are the boy's father by Nastassja Kinski, with whom each had once been involved. This Disney production is based on the more humorous French farce, Les Compères, by Francis Veber (who cowrote this adaptation). It has its moments as breezy entertainment, but the plot is sloppy enough to seem more like slapstick than sophisticated comedy. The gags are contrived, and it fails to unfold with believability, or grace. More interesting than the writing are the performances, as Crystal brings surprising depth to his cynical lawyer and Williams is exceptionally fine-tuned as a suicidal and dippy writer with a very kind heart. --Rochelle O'Gorman, Amazon.com --This text refers to the VHS edition of this video

Elena wants the same things most twenty-five year old women want: a stable home, a loving family, and a meaningful relationship with a sensual partner. But unlike most women, she ll never get these things, because her life is a little more complicated than most being the world s only female werewolf. Elena was formerly a member of THE PACK, the powerful organized werewolf family that enforces a strict code of werewolf laws. Laws that ensure humans are safe among rogue werewolves, known as MUTTS. The Pack also makes certain that werewolf existence remains a secret, because if it ever became known that their kind existed, a fearful public would hunt them down and exterminate them from the face of the planet. Based on the bestselling fantasy book series by George R.R. Martin, the hit fantasy series chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent kingdom. As the season begins, Daenerys Targaryen, accompanied by her Unsullied army and emboldened by Dothraki/Ironborn allies and her lethal trio of dragons, has finally set sail for Westeros with Tyrion Lannister, her newly appointed Hand. Jon Snow, memorably reanimated in S6, has apparently consolidated power in the North after his spectacular conquest of Ramsay Bolton in the Battle of the Bastards and the return of Winterfell to Stark control. In King's Landing, Cersei Lannister, bereft of any surviving heirs, has successfully seized the Iron Throne by using wildfire to incinerate the High Sparrow and other foes in the Sept of Baelor. But as these and other factions drive inexorably towards new alliances or (more likely) violent conflicts, the cold specter of another, apocalyptic threat in the form of an army of undead White Walkers expected to breach The Wall and invade the South threatens to undermine the status quo and obliterate the outcome of these smaller, alltoo-human rivalries.
