Rebecca Hall and Michael C. Hall star in this biographical drama directed by Antonio Campos. The film tells the story of Christine Chubbuck (Hall), a Sarasota television news reporter relentlessly pushing for a promotion at her male-dominated network. With her boss Michael (Tracy Letts) demanding she chase more exciting stories in a bid to boost ratings, Christine begins to feel the pressure as her determination to provide meaningful social justice reports coupled with her lack of on-screen personality begin to damage her chances of achieving her goals.
