Sebastian Weigle conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus in this performance of Strauss's comic opera. In this production, directed by Robert Carsen, Renée Fleming stars as Marschallin while Elina Garanca performs the role of Octavian and Günther Groissböck plays Baron Ochs.
