Japanese anime adapted from Kazuki Sakuraba's novel. Set in the Edo period, the film follows young huntress Hamaji (voice of Minako Kotobuki) as she joins the battle to eliminate the human and dog hybrids known as the Fuse. After befriending one of the Fuse, Hamiji is soon torn between her role as a hunter and her new-found empathy for the creatures.
