Abandoned by her alcoholic father and ignored by her newly married mother, 17-year-old Han-Gong-ju (Chun Woo-hee) is forced to move schools after being one of several victims of a terrible crime carried out by her peers. Driven out by the perpetrator's influential parents, Han's sympathetic teacher (Jo Dae-hee) sends her to his mother (Yeong-ran Lee)'s house while the criminal investigation continues in her hometown. In the intimidating environment of her unfamiliar school, Han is encouraged to join a singing group after making friends with a classmate (In-seon Jeong) who discovers her hidden musical talent. But when her new hobby brings increasing amounts of unwanted attention, Han is again forced to confront the trauma of her recent past.
