Action comedy starring Jeff Goldblum as Ed, a middle-aged aerospace engineer whose life has hit a rut: his wife is having an affair, he hates his job and he can't sleep at night. One night, in the car park of Los Angeles airport, a beautiful young woman lands on the bonnet of his car, seemingly out of the blue. It turns out to be Diana (Michelle Pfeiffer), an airhead with a penchant for very dangerous men, who has got herself in a fix involving six smuggled emeralds and several hired assassins.
