Joe Wright Triple Pack Blu Ray

| Blu Ray

Anna Karenina: The third collaboration of Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley with acclaimed director Joe Wright, following the award-winning box office successes Pride & Prejudice and Atonement, is a bold, theatrical new vision of the epic story of love, adapted from Leo Tolstoy's timeless novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love). The story powerfully explores the capacity for love that surges through the human heart. As Anna questions her happiness and marriage, change comes to all around her. Atonement: Keira Knightley (Love Actually)... and James McAvoy (The Last King of Scotland) star in this extraordinary film from the Director of Pride & Prejudice. Through a series of catastrophic misunderstandings, Robbie Turner (James McAvoy) is accused of a crime he did not commit. This accusation destroys Robbie and Cecilia's (Keira Knightley) new found love and dramatically alters the course of their lives. Pride & Prejudice: The five Bennet sisters have all been raised by their mother with one purpose in life - finding a husband. However, the second eldest Lizzie can think of 100 reasons not to marry. When Lizzie meets the darkly handsome and snobbish Mr Darcy, what seems like a match made in heaven quickly becomes divided by pride and prejudice. Can they get past this and can Lizzie finally find a reason to marry? A collection of films from director Joe Wright. In Tom Stoppard's adaptation of Tolstoy's epic novel 'Anna Karenina' (2012), trapped in a loveless marriage and the ongoing fallout of a family crisis, Anna (Keira Knightley) falls uncontrollably in love with charming and affluent bachelor Count Vronsky (Aaron Johnson). But as Anna falters to make a decision about leaving her husband, government official Karenin (Jude Law), Vronsky continues to pursue his social life, leading Anna into a growing paranoia about his infidelities that eventually leads to tragic consequences. In 'Atonement' (2007), on the hottest day of the summer of 1935, 13-year-old Briony Tallis (Saoirse Ronan) sees her older sister Cecilia (Knightley) strip off her clothes and plunge into the fountain in the garden of their country house. Watching Cecilia is their housekeeper's son Robbie Turner (James McAvoy), a childhood friend who, along with Briony's sister, has recently graduated from Cambridge. By the end of that day the lives of all three have been changed forever. Robbie and Cecilia have crossed a boundary they had never before dared to approach and have become victims of the younger girl's scheming imagination - and Briony has committed a dreadful crime, the guilt for which will colour her entire life. Finally, in 'Pride and Prejudice' (2005), when wealthy Mr Bingley (Simon Woods) and his friend, the dashing Mr Darcy (Matthew MacFadyen), arrive in a small Hertfordshire town, Mrs Bennett (Brenda Blethyn) sees it as the perfect opportunity to marry off her eligible daughters. But when Elizabeth Bennett (Knightley) meets Mr Darcy, their equally headstrong natures get in the way of true love.
