Giulietta plays her namesake, a bored, timid and unfulfilled wife who, suspecting her husband's infidelity, enters a surreal fantasy journey of self-discovery filled with dreams and fantasies. Italian comedy drama directed by Federico Fellini and starring Giulietta Masina, Sandra Milo and Mario Pisu. Bored housewife Juliet (Masina) discovers that she has the ability to call upon spirits when she begins to suspect that her husband (Pisu) is cheating on her. Through consultation with mediums and clairvoyants, Juliet gradually discovers a sense of self which enables her to leave her unfaithful spouse.
