German drama written and directed by Wim Wenders. The film follows Bruno Winter (Rüdiger Vogler) as he travels around the country fixing projection equipment. One day on the road, he meets Robert Lander (Hanns Zischler) who, suffering from depression after splitting up with his wife, tries to kill himself by driving his car into the River Elbe.
