Documentary which sets out to tell the story of The Doobie Brothers, detailing all the ups and downs of their career in the music industry. Formed in California in 1970, it wasn't until their 1972 hit single, 'Listen to the Music', that the band broke through to the mainstream. Their success continued, even with line-up changes, throughout the '70s, but the group split in 1982, citing exhaustion and personal issues, before reforming in the 1990s. The film features contributions from the surviving members of the band, their manager and producer, who reflect on a musical journey that has spanned four decades.
