Thriller in which an idealistic teenager falls in love with a man suspected of committing murder. Despite living in a town scarred by the unexplained disappearance and suspected murder of fellow teenager Melissa Kennedy, 16-year-old Sylvia Potter (Lindsey Shaw) maintains her optimism. Sylvia works as a projectionist at the local movie theatre and her familiarity with on-screen hunks has led her to develop a highly specific image of her ideal man, much to the disappointment of her smitten friend Harry (Jean-Luc Bilodeau). When she meets Lucas Green (Jamie Johnston), a charming rich kid who attends a preparatory school nearby, Sylvia thinks her dreams have finally come true. However, when the police list Lucas as a potential suspect for the murder of Melissa Kennedy, Sylvia's life is thrown into turmoil and she finds herself questioning everything.
