R30 was filmed on Rush s 30th Anniversary tour in 2004 on September 24 at the Festhalle in Frankfurt. The R30 concerts showcased the band s entire career with tracks from the early seventies onwards. The show was originally released on DVD worldwide in 2005 and then on Blu-ray in North America only in 2009. Eight tracks were cut from the show for the DVD release.
