Animated adventure written and directed by Jorge R. Gutierrez. Manolo (voiced by Diego Luna) has reached a crossroads in his life; should he follow his head and satisfy his family's expectations or should he follow his heart to be with the woman he loves? Choosing to follow his heart, Manolo informs Maria (Zoe Saldana) of his love only to be told he faces competition in the form of the charming Joaquin (Channing Tatum). When the evil spirits of La Muerte (Kate del Castillo) and Xibalba (Ron Perlman) - whose job it is to make sure Joaquin is Maria's destiny - learn of Manolo's feelings, they banish him to the land of the remembered where he must fight his way home to claim his right to Maria's hand.
