Psychological suspense thriller about a broke young man who kidnaps three rich college kids in an attempt to raise some cash. When social misfit Paul (Kevin Zegers) is turned down for yet another job and his ill mother is given a foreclosure notice on the family home, Paul decides to resort to desperate measures, enlisting the help of two friends to abduct three kids from rich families and hold them for a million dollars each. But the plan goes badly wrong and the friends soon find themselves in way over their heads.
