Idris Elba and Kate Winslet star in this gripping drama based on the novel by Charles Martin. When the paths of two strangers cross at an airport, they get talking and discover that they both need urgent flights that aren't available. They decide to charter a private plane and pilot (Beau Bridges) to take them to their destinations - surgeon Ben Bass (Elba) is performing an operation on a patient in Baltimore and journalist Alex Martin (Winslet) is getting married. While flying over a snowy mountain range, the plane crashes leaving Alex badly injured and the two completely stranded with no way of getting help. When they realise that the pilot didn't file a flight plan, they come to terms with the fact that nobody knows where they are. Can two complete strangers work together to survive the wilderness and a potentially deadly trek to safety?
