Jean-Claude Van Damme stars in this time-travelling sci-fi thriller. In Washington, 1994, Max Walker (Van Damme) is an average cop enjoying life with his new wife (Mia Sara). One night she is murdered and the following morning Walker volunteers for a dangerous assignment in a new police department. Ten years later time-travelling is a reality and Walker is a maverick Timecop, going back and forth catching villains all over history. Then the opportunity arises to save his wife when he goes back to 1994 to face a politician who wants to take over the world.
