Double bill featuring a documentary about Lou Reed's 'Transformer' album and the singer performing live at Montreux. 'Transformer' (1997) tells the story behind the making of the celebrated second album from ex-Velvet Underground singer Lou Reed. The film features Reed and engineer Ken Scott working through the original multi-track tapes of such classics as 'Perfect Day', 'Satellite of Love' and 'Walk On the Wild Side'. The documentary also includes an interview with Eurythmic Dave Stewart, who explains the importance of Reed's influence. 'Live at Montreux' (2000) sees the influential singer-songwriter performing at the Montreux Jazz Festival and features tracks from his Velvet Underground days, as well as his own solo compositions.
