Triple bill of Verdi's Shakespeare operas. 'Macbeth' is performed by the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano. Simon Keenlyside is Macbeth, supported by Liudmyla Monastyrska, Raymond Aceto and others. Conducted by Antoni Ros-Marbà at the Grand Teatre del Liceu, 'Otello' sees José Cura play the title character. The rest of the cast includes Krassimire Stoyanova, Lado Ataneli and Ketevan Kemoklidze. Christopher Purves plays the eponymous role in 'Falstaff' at the Glyndebourne Festival alongside a cast including Tassis Christoyannis. Vladimir Jurowski conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Glyndebourne Chorus.
