Detective Tommy Murphy (James Nesbitt) is a police officer with a past. Devastated by his daughters murder by terrorists in Northern Ireland, he on suspension from the force - that is until a job offer comes up that he can't refuse. He travels to London to work as an undercover officer in the most dangerous cases he can get involved in.
