  This story is about Ravi Vijay and Apu who are young handsome and energetic married middle class people who are trying to survive on their monthly salary. Their wives Meena Anjali and Vimla are housewives but because of the useless debts of their husbands they are not able to make the monthly rent or the school fees for their children and so are always on the bottom end in society. In the meantime a man called Bhishma comes to live in their neighbourhood with his wife Zhoomari. Considering the problems of Meena Anjali and Vimla one day Zhoomari advises them to take up a job like her. They want to but their husbands are not keen on their wives being sent out to work. The three husbands then subsequently loose their jobs and ultimately the wives are forced to go out to work. Angry with this change the husbands find it hard to cope and end up throwing the women out of the house. After a dramatic turn of events the husbands realise that women are equal to men and deserve more than to serve thier spouse and have children.....
