It is the near future and Britain faces social and economic collapse . Hyper-inflation leads to rioting and choric food shortages but Norman Mortimer is determined to protect his loved ones from the encroaching chaos. This three-part drama sensitively portrays a teenage romance between an English boy and a Swedish girl.
