A celluloid penny dreadful the stories twisted and turned at a fabulous pace keeping the armchair detectives guessing until the very end. Scotland Yard Introduced by novelist and broadcaster Edgar Lustgarten the series focused on cases from the records room of the most famous police force in the world Scotland Yard. Regular viewers were drawn into a murky world of mystery murder and mayhem as each episode explained or helped to solve a hideous crime.
