Full time civil servant and part time fantasist Albert Toddey (David Jason) ventures into Londons seedy Soho for the first time in his life - and blunders straight into a criminal caper. Strippers are being kidnapped and sold as white slaves in the Middle East and Alberts new friend Stella (Imogen Hassall) has just disappeared too! Can Albert rescue the strippers? He knows where they are but theres just one little problem. In his mind, Albert is a super-cool man of action. In real life, however, hes a blundering idiot! If the two mysterious men from the ministry (Hugh Lloyd & Tim Barrett) dont manage to save the day, Albert may find himself heading off to the desert with the girls and starting on a new career as a palace eunuch!
