Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play. 2001 Maniacs: A drunken group of hard partying college-kids are in for a Spring Break they'll never forget when they take a tragic detour through the small southern town of Pleasant Valley. Greeted by the overzealous mayor (Robert Englund) and promised a wild time at the town's annual barbecue celebration, the initially-hesitant teens soon agree to spend the night when the citizens' down-home hospitality simply becomes too much to resist. But things are not what they seem in the timeless town of Pleasant Valley, and as the thrill seeking students begin to disappear one-by-one in the most gruesome of fashions, it soon becomes obvious that they are to be the main ingredient in Pleasant Valley's most tasty tradition. 2001 Maniacs Field Of Screams: When this year's round of unsuspecting Northerners fail to show up for their annual Guts N' Glory Jamboree, the residents of Pleasant Valley take their cannibalistic carnival on the road and head to Iowa where they encounter spoiled heiresses Rome & Tina Sheraton and the cast and crew of their "Road Rascals" reality show.

Comedy horror double. In '2001 Maniacs' (2005), a group of college students are passing through the sinister Southern town of Pleasant Valley en route to Florida for the spring break holiday. The eccentric locals seem harmless and invite the students to stay for their annual barbecue. Little do the students know that they are the ones on the menu as the town takes revenge for the South's defeat in the American Civil War. Bill Moseley stars in the sequel, '2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams' (2010). Another group of eight college drifters find themselves waylaid in Pleasant Valley, where they are invited as guests of honour to the town's annual 'Guts n Glory' celebration barbecue. But before they know it they too are being picked off one by one as flesh fodder for the town's cannibalistic residents.
