Australian coming-of-age drama shot over 52 consecutive Tuesdays. 16-year-old Billie (Tilda Cobham-Hervey) shares a close relationship with her mother (Del Herbert-Jane) but is shocked to return home from school one day and discover her dressed as a man. The change, however, soon turns into a permanent one when her mother announces her intention to become a man and her wish to be known as James. Billie is sent to live with her father Tom (Beau Travis Williams) but visits James every Tuesday afternoon during the year-long adjustment period, which they both individually document with video diaries. While her mother deals with the intense changes of her gender transition, Billie engages in a new relationship with classmates Josh (Sam Althuizen) and Jasmine (Imogen Archer) while filming them for an art project.
