All seven episodes of the mid-1970s ITV soap opera. Peter Manson (Frank Finlay) is a successful publisher beset with problems at home. His wife (Sheila Allen) resents the attention he gives his beloved daughter, Prue (Susan Penhaligon), whilst both parents are united in their dislike of Prue's new husband (James Aubrey). Adding to a potent brew of familial dischord is Peter's attractive secretary (Deborah Grant), whose charms prove too great for him to resist.
